2nd February -- Grasmere, Lake District | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
The 'Cs' walked out of Grasmere and up to the 'Old Coffin' route to Rydal, where most of the group went for a coffee . Several of the more resilient members took the opportunity to view the river and falls at Rydal Hall. After the break , they continued over to Loughrigg Fell and the lake for lunch stop and the chance to observe some how some of the other visitors to the area take their 'pleasure'. They then followed the lake edge back to Grasmere, there enjoying the various refreshments in the local venues. | |||||
